Job Description Summary:

The Document Control Clerk works part-time under the direction of the Director of Corporate Quality & Technical Services and provides administrative support to the Quality Department.  This support will include editing and distributing specifications, communication with W. F. Young contractors, product inspection and sample preparation as well as the product state registrations and tonnage reports to help achieve the objectives of the Quality Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

20-30 hours per week

  • Specification Controlmaintaining product specifications including
    • Master Formulas
    • Raw Materials
    • Components
    • Safety Data Sheets
    • Artwork
  • Document Control issuance and maintenance
    • Specifications
    • Supplier Agreements
    • SOP’s
  • Product Registrations
    • Registration of products in all states
    • Feed Tonnage Reporting


Additional responsibilities, as time permits

  • Quality Inspection
    • Routine case inspections
    • New product inspections
  • Field Study Handling
    • Aid in sample preparation
    • Send out samples
    • Accumulate data and input into database
  • Stability Tracking
    • Maintain database across product lines and manufacturers
    • Identify gaps and send out reminders to manufacturers
