Reining Champion Dave Moore and Kyndall Harper Win Absorbine® Myoplast® Awards at Florida Classic Derby

Jacksonville, FL – South Florida reining champion Dave Moore made a clean sweep of the Florida Classic Derby recently by winning all three divisions aboard the gorgeous, five-year-old palomino Nu Doc’s Cash. The Florida Classic Derby was sponsored by Absorbine® Myoplast® and Moore, Nu Doc’s Cash and owner Javier Melo rode away with a great prize basket from Absorbine.

The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) show, held at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center, was a big event for Florida reiners, according to Moore. "Our sport is still on the rise and as we move toward the World Equestrian Games there is even more interest developing," Moore said, adding, "It’s great that a company like Absorbine would get behind us and support reining."

Moore was pleased with his ride on Nu Doc’s Cash, and equally pleased with the prize basket from Absorbine. "It was wonderful that Absorbine chose to be part of this event," Moore said. "They are the standard in the industry and their support means a lot."

While Moore claimed all three divisions of the Florida Classic Derby, young Kyndall Harper continued her winning ways and took home the championship in the Non Pro Classic class. Harper was also presented with a basket of prizes from Absorbine.

Absorbine was pleased to sponsor the show and introduce riders to Absorbine Myoplast®, an amino acid supplement formulated to support muscle performance in horses. European champions have been using Myoplast, the number-one-selling muscle supplement in Germany and only available in Europe through veterinarians, for many years. Absorbine Myoplast is now sold in the United States and is available at local tack shops, in catalogs and feed stores.

"Riders in Europe have had great success with Myoplast and now riders in the United States are experiencing the benefits of the amino acid supplement. From reiners and ropers to jumpers and dressage riders, the supplement is beneficial for all performance horses," said Liz Cohen, Junior Brand Manager for Absorbine. "Reining horses are high performance athletes and Absorbine Myoplast is excited to support them."
